About US:
The Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) was established under the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Act of 2005 to provide for a successor corporate body to Radio Uganda and Uganda Television. It is mandated to provide national radio and television services. It is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Government of Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive Corporation vehicles abiding by the traffic regulations according to the laws of Uganda.
- Motor vehicle mechanical maintenance i.e. servicing and mechanical repairs.
- Maintain motor vehicle cleanliness.
- Ensure that the vehicles have valid road license and third party stickers.
- Keep proper records on the movement of the vehicles and maintain a proper motor vehicle log book.
- Transport staff day or night as the shift requires.
- Making deliveries or picking up documents of equipment on behalf of the Corporation.
- Perform any other related duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should have O’ Level Certificate with a valid driving license
- At least three years’ experience
- Defensive driving certificate may be preferred.
