Job Summary: The Team Leader Logical Access and Information Security Management will be responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records as well as creating and monitoring user credentials or access to the system.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate customer mandate filing, transaction vouchers storage and retrieval processes.
- Manage and maintain permanent records, customer mandates and historically valuable documents.
- Maintain system rights access for all staff. Maintain staff rights as per user form or maintain the rights as per the designated approval.
- Oversee the management of electronic and/or paper-based information.
- Design and develop filing systems, business classification schemes and undertake records surveys.
- set up and review documenting records systems.
- Establish retention and disposal schedules.
- Advise on new records management policies, providing a framework to guide your staff in the management of their records and use of the employer’s records system.
- Review of the system user matrix as per policy to disable the exited users from the Bank, in the system and also change roles wherever and whenever required.
- Participate in training on system use and ensure no user problems in completing tasks.
- Create and maintain accessible computer archives and databases. Ensure a detailed customer mandates information is readily available for customer service and compliance purposes.
- Organize and classify archival records to make it easy to find transaction vouchers, files and documents from branches and other departments of the Bank.
- Periodically sort closed accounts from active/dormant accounts for easy monitoring.
- Set and administer policy guidelines concerning staff access to mandates and Vouchers, hence ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure that all tools and appliances for efficient service are available and in a good working condition.
- Send a daily/weekly report and submit key issues for your supervisor’s attention.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a Library Science, Computer Science or related Course
- Three years of general Banking experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to develop an understanding of how your organization works and build integrated records systems
- good project management and organizational skills
- a good grasp of new technology and adapting to new IT packages and systems
- Awareness of information management principles and familiarity with information systems and archives
- Attention to detail
- flexibility to get involved in all aspects of information provision.
