Job Title:   Credit Officer (Several Fresher Job Opportunities)

The bank operates 32 regulated branches and 131 satellite offices covering 84 districts in Uganda targeting Micro, Small. and Medium Entrepreneurs. BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and underserved populations. especially women and youth as well as people living in poverty in rural areas. The Bank is operationally and financially self-sustaining with over 231,000 active customers and a loan book in excess of Ushs.175 billion.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Survey business and find out potential entrepreneurs
  • Prepare documentation for loan disbursement
  • Make frequent field visits to ensure quality disbursement. Follow up borrowers after disbursement and ensure timely realization.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Diploma in Business, IT, Microfinance, Education or any other related field. Degree is added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and innovative
  • Age must be 30 years and below
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Northern Uganda
