Job Summary: The Lifting Expert will work as lifting equipment technical authority, responsible for providing technical advice, oversight and guidance to the Project for lifting operations, deviations or non-compliance so that they can detect defects or weaknesses and assess how important they are in relation to the safety. Provides support to maintenance teams to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carries out on all lifting equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and review Lifting Plans.
- Have stewardship of cranes for the Project.
- Determine standards for and participates in, the monitoring and assessment of lifting operations.
- Lead the inspection and validation of liftin equipment prior to mobilization in coordination with respective PMT.
- Verifies and ensures compliance with the Project Owner’s requirement, standards, specifications, and instructions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years similar working experience
- Proficient in English Language and office software
- Be familiar with construction standards.
- Successful candidates with relevant experience and recognized expertise in large onshore/offshore oil and gas EPC projects will be preferred.
- The working environment is multicultural and demands considerable experience in the project process working with International Clients and Contractors.
- Strong communication skills, fluent spoken and written English, and Chinese competency will be a plus.
