Job Title:    Flour Mill Manager

Organisation: Ntake Bakery and Company Limited

Duty Station:  Nalukolongo, Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Managing Director and Directors

 

About US:

In 1979, our first product was baked giving birth to Ntake bakery. Since then we have grown into a multi sector business comprising of a bakery, wheat mill and paper recycling plant. With household names like Kaswa baking flour, AAA tissue and our bread which has come to be simply known as Ntake, we have endeared ourselves to the hearts of many Ugandans.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the Entire Flour Mill Production
  • Sets Products production targets and ensures their attainment
  • Ensures production of quality Wheat flour products.
  • Generates a daily / weekly and monthly production report for both the M D.
  • Liaises with the Chief Engineer to ensure minimum down time due to repair and maintenance of machines
  • Running the mill according to the fore boss’s instructions in line with the set standards of the Company.
  • Planning and implementing maintenance schedules of all machines.
  • Checking production quality and extractions at regular intervals and maintain communications between shifts.
  • Maintenance of process parameters and inspection of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Hourly checkup of capacities.
  • Ensure highest quality of the by-products.
  • Strong skills in PLC Electrical panels.
  • Strong skills in maintaining electrically packing machines.
  • Responsible for production scheduling optimization as required based on capacity production.
  • Responsible for reporting yield calculations to ensure constant quality.
  • Follows up vital customer orders
  • Receives Feedback from the customers
  • Overall in charge of labor deployment
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree of engineering in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience of 10 years and above.
  • Proven experience in Wheat milling.
