Job Title:   Quantity Surveyor (2 Job Vacancies)

Organisation: Sinopec (Uganda)

Duty Station: Initially start from Kampala Office and mainly on project sites (Buliisa & Nwoya)

On-boarding Date: 1 May, 2022

Sinopec Service is engaged in the provision of all project phases service for various sectors, including oil & gas, power, buildings, roads and bridges etc. We are looking for Construction and Project support personnel.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with site managers and engineers to ensure the project schedule is met.
  • Measure the quantity of materials and equipment arrived at site, confirm the specification and quantity as required by project plan.
  • Coordinate with site managers and engineers and oversee the measurement of site construction quantity and report to the COMPANY representative.

 





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years similar working experience in Oil and Gas Construction
  • proficient in English Language and strong communication skills
  • Adept in Office software
  • Successful candidates with relevant experience and recognized expertise in large onshore/offshore oil and gas EPC projects will be preferred.
  • The working environment is multicultural and demands considerable experience in the project process working with International Clients and Contractors.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent spoken and written English, and Chinese competency will be a plus.
