Job Summary: We are looking for 2 all-round individuals who are dynamic Honest, Hardworking, Trustworthy and passionate about delivering results to join our finance and accounts team in Kampala.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Ensure that debt collection is done accordingly and accurate records are maintained.
- Confirm and reconcile customers’ accounts, ensure accurate records are maintained and communicate the position/status of accounts monthly.
- Maintain day to day internal controls for the finance systems.
- Any other duties as may be assigned to you by your Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Applicant should be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Finance /Business Administration from a recognized Institution.
- Must have a professional qualification – CPA Level Two
- At least three years of working experience in busy work environment
- Familiarity with SAP Business one / Tally ERP
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Should preferably be below the age of 32 years.
