Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary: The Programme Manager will provide overall coordination and strategic leadership to the projects teams to ensure effective implementation of interventions and ultimately achievement of all programme targets; as well as support sustainable growth of the MIHS grants profile and brand as a leading capacity building Institution in line with MIHS vision and mission.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in a health related field. Master’s degree in Public Health is an added advantage.
- He/she must be registered with the relevant professional body/council, and must have a valid practicing license.
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing comprehensive and complex Community Capacity Building projects in Health or other development programmes;
- He/She must have; demonstrable experience in managing projects involving multi-million dollar budgets/portfolios;
- Demonstrable subject matter expertise in Health and Development, disability, RMNCH, Health programing in a Humanitarian setting or Health Systems Strengthening; must also have wide experience in coordinating with multiple Programmes and partner institutions.
