Job Title:  Primary and ECD specialist

Organisation: River Flow International–Science Teachers’ Initiative (RIFI-STI)

Duty Station:  Kampala, Uganda

 

About US:

River Flow International–Science Teachers’ Initiative (RIFI-STI) is a registered Non-Government Organization  (NGO) made up of experienced science teachers working together to improve the quality of education in Africa and promote the use of scientific knowledge, innovation, and research in solving socio-economic challenges. We do this by developing practical reading/learning materials, promoting numeracy and literacy, retooling teachers in practical science teaching, and increasing access to inclusive quality education in Africa.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compose teaching/ learning materials for ECD and primary.
  • Train teachers on practical teaching in lower primary.
  • Make presentations to donors and sponsors on the organization’s new innovations in primary and ECD.
  • Innovate and bring new ideas into the organization
  • Work smartly to meet project deadlines





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Willing to learn new things on a daily basis.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
