Job Title: Manager Banking Operations

Reports to: Senior Manager Treasury

Job Summary: The Manager Banking Operations will be responsible for management and operation of the Banking Operations Section, as per the MTN Group and Localized Treasury Policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the Banking Operations Team
- Review daily Bank Account reconciliations for both UGX & USD MTN Uganda Accounts.
- Daily Review of Journals for Postpaid transactions.
- Ensure Board approved Signatories are active on all the Bank Platforms.
- Verify MTN payments on the respective Banking Platforms.
- Review Bank Operations Transactions in Oracle.
- Review end of month reconciliation reports.
- Funds Transfer Bank Detail and GL Update.
- Treasury Back Office Management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the MTN Uganda Manager Banking Operations career opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce.
- Professional Qualification i.e. ACCA or CPA
- Four to five years of working experience in a busy Finance Function
- Experience with Accounting /Financial Systems
- Business Management Training. Performance Management.
- Basic Accounting Training.
- Finance for non-Finance Managers Training.
