Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary: The position will support the provision of oversight of Sub Grants to ensure compliance with funding source administrative guidelines, accurate submission of financial reports and tracking of all donor assets.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal Candidate must have a 1st Degree preferably in: B. Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting) with full professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA.
- He or She must have 3 years in middle management positions in Accounting, Finance or Auditing field; proven knowledge of donor financial accounting procedures (multi donor reporting) and clear understanding of GOU and IAS/AFRS accounting requirements.
- Candidate must also have demonstrable hands-on-computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word and at least one accounting package (preferably Navision)
