Job Summary:  We’re looking for a Premium Officer who is financially smart and has extensive experience in handling cash. You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are documented and are balanced as we rapidly scale our business in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cash disbursements and rebalancing between the cash house/safe and the premium agent.
• Cash re-balances based on limits or as need be, in the course of the day with premium agent.
• Handle Cash In Transit requests and enforce adherence to all related processes.
• Support in the coordination of liquidity operations in the area.
• Carry out daily reconciliation of the cash house and premium assistant, preparing and maintaining relevant records.
• Ensuring that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury systems.
• Report immediately any cash discrepancy or challenges encountered to the line manager.
• Report strategies of how to ensure optimal rebalancing options in the area for all agents.
• Any other tasks as directed by the line manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in cash handling, delivery or security services.
• Ability to speak any local language is an added advantage.
