Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) is East Africa’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The Company manufactures antiretrovirals, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTS) and, Hepatitis medicines, to treat HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and Hepatitis respectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, monitoring, and controlling plant operations, maintenance and documentation
- Planning and supervising mechanical projects; both in house and by contractors
- Planning, supervising of calibration works and validation of systems
- Leading teams in automation and instrumentation project
- Developing project specifications
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineers License is an added advantage
- At least three years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering in an industrial set-up
