Angualia Busiku & Co. Advocates, is a licensed and approved law firm based in Kampala.
Job Summary: The law firm seeks to recruit office administrator/ front desk officer with immediate effect.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer calls and handle queries relating to the law firm.
- Answer phone calls from concerned clients and party, without any delay.
- Read, monitor and respond to the law firm’s emails where assigned.
- Maintain office filing and storage systems in an organized and orderly manner.
- Type documents, correspondences and filing.
- Monitor Source and order office stationery, supplies and office equipment.
- Distribute/file all incoming mail and correspondences from time to time.
- Obtain and disperse relevant information or refer client to the appropriate personnel.
- Screen and distribute incoming mail and send out information and letters to clients.
- Schedule appointments for lawyers with the firm clients as instructed.
- Manage and prioritize the multiple tasks that have been assigned.
- Oversee the general cleanliness and organization of the law firm.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must at least hold a diploma in the relevant field.
- Previous experience in a similar busy environment of at least two years is a must.
- Dependable and highly organized with business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Technologically literate with strong computer skills including familiarity with microsoft word, excel, internet and other commonly used soft and hard ware.
- Good organizational skills and record keeping (attention to detail is critical)
- Cheerful presence and people skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Skills in establishing priorities and managing workload under minimum supervision.
- Ability to follow directions and instructions (critical).
