Global Alliance for the Advancement of Refugees and Migrants is a registered NGO whose mission is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate all forms of injustice and discrimination by ensuring that refugees and migrants access rights to which they are entitled under the international law.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage the implementation of HR and administration plan and budget in line with HR departmental plan and the organisation’s financial guidelines. Monitor the implementation of Performance Management system, policies and procedures and provide technical support to staff during each performance cycle in line with HR manual.
  • Keenly monitor the recruitment & selection processes as per the approved human resource plan, manage the on-boarding process and placement procedure for new staff, and manage staff exit process accordingly.
  • Review and implement Staff training & development strategy.
  • Design, maintain and update HR database according to the approved staff lists.
  • Review and monitor the implementation of employee relations, Health and safety, leave management and welfare procedure in the HR manual.

  • Manage information flow between management and staff. Conduct any such other duties as may be assigned for the good running of the organisation.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Possession of Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage (Not mandatory)
  • Two years of experience in managing a corporate function, providing support in managing performance driven programs and managing the change process.
  • Good team player, target oriented, flexible, self-driven and good cultural understanding with ability to work under minimum supervision.
