Job Summary: Reporting to the Director, the Accounting and Finance Associate will be responsible for overseeing financial and accounting processes to ensure maximum profitability, success and growth of the advisory group.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop financial strategies by guiding clients to establish financial goals and matching goals to situation with appropriate financial plans.
- Process income and expense reports and ensure all receipts are accounted for, per diems are calculated correctly, and reimbursed in compliance with internal financial management procedures.
- Develop relevant SOP’s and work closely with the business development unit to work out better ways of improving the firm’s financial strength.
- Provide assistance to customers including attending to their concerns; and assist with financial reporting.
- Handle all issues related to statutory and non-statutory audits, reviews and related tax preparations and remittances in line relevant laws and internal financial management guidelines.
- Provide advice to other business unit associates and clients to ensure compliance in financial regulations best practices.
- Process invoices, payrolls on a timely basis, ensuring proper documentation and appropriate sign off and entry.
- Prepare relevant financial data and make presentations to key stakeholders for decision making
- Develop and sustain productive working relationships with internal and external partners to coordinate activities, manage information and report project status.
- Prepare routine financial reports in compliance with BondRich Financial management guidelines.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Commerce or related field.
- Possession of professional qualification including CFA, ACCA or CPA is an added advantage
- Innovative and good problem solver
- Knowledge of accounting software including Tally Enterprise Resource Planning
- Good understanding of spreadsheets, google sheets and other digital tools.
