World Physiotherapy since 1995 . Our main mission is to promote high standards of Physiotherapy in practice, education and innovative research. To support and unite the the Physiotherapists in Uganda and beyond and to sensitize the population in Ugnada about the role of Physiotherapy in improving health and wellbeing.


Job Summary:  The Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support in the administration of office and project activities of the Physio-therapy project.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Act as focal point for receiving all visitors, guests and suppliers, ensure they are briefed and attended to
  • Manage office correspondences and maintain a tracking and record keeping system for all incoming and outgoing correspondences
  • Manage the telephone, website and email correspondences and ensure to forward them to the right personnel
  • Administration of the Membership Data Base,
  • Registration of new members,
  • Updating of personal details and status of existing members,
  • Collection of membership fees
  • Information sharing and liaison with members.
  • Assist the executive committee in
  • Event planning,
  • Coordination with Partners involved in the event,
  • Invitation Management, Design and Delivery,
  • Support the organization of the event,
  • Accounting of event expenditures
  • Reporting on event and outcomes.

Member Of World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT)

  • Participate in Proposal Development and Donor Reporting (for example research work).
  • Support in logistics procedures and ensure that all documents are filled out according to the procurement regulations.
  • Perform other duties that may be required by UAP executive in line with the Project.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a diploma in Business Administration, Social works and social administration, development studies. A Bachelor in the mentioned fields is an added advantage.
  • At least three years of relevant experience with a recognized institution/ project.
  • Experience in marketing is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills; computer literate with hands on MS Office programs, especially in MS Excel
  • A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action as to not delay program activities
  • Knowledge on report writing
  • Fluency in English
