About US:

Kampala Capital City Authority is the legal entity, established by the Ugandan Parliament that is responsible for the operations of the capital city of Kampala in Uganda. It replaced the Kampala City Council.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible to the Manager Services, Protocol Management and Outdoor Advertisement for performing the following duties:-

  • Planning and coordinating development of the service charter of the Authority and coordinating the rollout in all the Authority Directorates.
  • Responding to and compiling a report on inquiries and complaints from KCCA customers in line with the guidelines and Corporate Objectives.
  • Designing a system for ensuring that Customer Care Standards are upheld uniformly throughout the Authority.
  • Designing and reviewing distribution of the advertising and promotional items/programs of the Authority in line with the Authority’s objectives.
  • Designing, reviewing and implementing branding, advertising and promotional activities of the Authority.
  • Designing and monitoring implementation of regular market research and surveys as well as supporting implementation of corporate activities of the Authority that support the projection of its image.
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing a system of obtaining customer satisfaction levels, generating periodic reports and monitor implementation of follow up actions in line with the Authority’s strategy and the customer service standards.
  • Planning, monitoring and implementing customer service training/sensitization programmes for staff in line with the identified training needs, the customer expectations, the service charter, the training calendar and the Authority’s customer service strategy.
  • Managing performance and development of staff in line with the HR policy and the performance management guidelines.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicants for the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Supervisor Client Care and Marketing job should be Ugandans holding Honours Bachelor’s Degrees in either International relations or Commerce (Marketing Option) or Business Administration (Marketing Option) or Arts (Communication) or Marketing or Humanities or Leisure and Hospitality or any other related field from a recognized university or Institution, plus a minimum of a Postgraduate Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized university or Institution.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years working experience in either marketing or client care three (3) of which must have been gained at Senior Officer or Supervisory level in Government or from a reputable organization.
  • Age: Above 28 years
