Job Title:    Cleaner

About US:

Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA) is a statutory body established by UNMA Act, 2012. The Act empowers UNMA to provide for the control and development of technically sound and scientific meteorological services in Uganda.


Job Summary:  The Cleaner will provide a clean environment within the institution.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Give out menus and take orders for food and drink;
  • Serve food and drinks on clean dishes at tables as required;
  • Roll silverware, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties;
  • Arrange tables or dining areas after students have finished dining;
  • Clean food service areas and remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters;
  • Collect dirty dishes or other tableware and ensure tables are clean and tidy
  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the relevant authority

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold an O’ level certificate.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
  • Age: 25- 50 Years
