Job Summary:  The Finance and Administration Manager (FA Manager) is responsible for providing effective leadership, operations management and controls in the Finance and Administration departments. The FA Manager will coordinate financial management cost saving measures and ensure that the costs are kept to a minimum. The ideal applicant should be performance and process oriented with integrity and the capacity to implement decisions in a timely manner.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Develop overall corporate financial goals and objectives
  • Day to day financial and administrative management of operations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial analytical reports
  • Develop departmental standard operating procedures and policies
  • Prepare account reconciliations, financial budgets, forecasts and projections
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related problems.
  • Supervise payroll, taxes and participate in financial audits
  • Recruitment and performance evaluation of departmental staff
  • Commit to continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies and procedures
  • Prepare statutory financial reports on a regular basis and monthly financial reports to senior management


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a University degree (preferably Master’s degree) in a relevant area such as Accounting and Finance
  • Must be a Certified Accountant and member of the ICPAU
  • At least seven years of experience in relevant positions including direct responsibility for staff and organizational budget.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Systems (QuickBooks, SAP, )
  • Sound knowledge of financial management & internal control rules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English (ie. fluency in English is a pre-requisite).
  • High emotional intelligence with ability to exercise sound judgment within a fast paced environment
  • Inter disciplinary strategic thinking and commercial acumen
  • Excellent organization, mentoring and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and influencing skills
  • Performance and detail orientated
  • Time management and structured approach
