Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Direct Sales Representative -Alternative Channels in the Eastern, Central, Northern and Western Regions of Uganda.


Job Summary: The holder of this position will promote, sell and service the bank’s offering of acquiring solutions, digital solutions, internet and mobile banking channels and Agency Banking. This will be done by delivering exceptional business growth with emphasis now being merchant acquiring (POS and Pay with the company system), e-banking and other collections and payments solutions.


The job holder will also seek to optimize Company’s ability to meet customer expectations related to service and sales via acquiring solutions, internet, and mobile banking channels, increase web-based revenue and improve web & mobile based capabilities and enhance the Bank’s digital payments capability.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment of merchants, schools, universities, and other institutions and appraisal thereby ensuring presence in the market.
  • Convert sale leads and prospects into customers/agents.
  • Migrating customers to e-channels through cross selling and onboarding of customers onto digital banking.
  • Train, retrain, and guide customers/merchants/agents up to a point where they can comfortably transact with the tools of trade (ensure usage).
  • Customer routine monitoring to support business and advice on growth.
  • Monitor adherence to performance of the products under the different performance lines.
  • Follow up on customer service issues with the different units at Head Office, branches, and agent locations.
  • Contribute to the effective launch of new products to ensure favourable market response and optimum build-up of revenue.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Customer Experience Manager.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • A degree in Business or related field.
  • Strong sales/cross-selling skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues over the phone, verbally and through email.
  • Positive attitude and resilience and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and arrive at successful solutions with key stakeholders.
  • Superior organization and time management skills critical.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS office suite
