Job Summary:  The Deputy Head of Maintenance &
Inspection (CMMS Specialist) will ensure effective control and supervision of
the Maintenance part of the Maintenance and Inspection engineering Contract
scope of work within the timescale and budget. Accountable for Generic and
Specific Maintenance contracts put in place during the project phase. Ensures
that safety, health, environment policy and Management systems are adhered to
by the project team and that safe working practices are carried out during
project execution

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Provide
specialist technical/engineering advice and guidance to project team on the
MIEC Contractor, ensuring highest safety standards, a timely response to queries
and ensure minimal disruption to progress

·       
Co-ordinate
MIEC Contractors activities, such that MIEC deliverables are in the correct
format and suitable quality for integration with existing SAP systems for
Maintenance management and Materials purchase.

·       
Responsible
for managing MIEC budget lines, monitoring costs and ensuring that expenditures
are within budget

·       
Contribute
to the preparation and implementation of MIEC and MEC contracts

·       
Contribute
to the development of strategies for the maintenance, inspection and operation
of plant/equipment to ensure that all plant and equipment meets verification
and compliance requirements

·       
Define
and implement the maintenance & inspection contractual strategy in close
liaison with the C&P affiliate correspondent.

·       
Undertake
in-depth analyses/studies of problems and identify longer-term solutions and/or
options.

·       
Prepare
scopes of work and economic justification for modifications ensuring they are
correctly engineered, documented and reported, and that all maintenance activities/modifications
are implemented in accordance with statutory/Company standards and correctly
closed-out

·       
Ensure
that maintenance activities are appropriately prioritised within operations
maintenance plans 

·       
Prepare
and present Technical dossiers

·       
Ensure
maintenance warehouse readiness to get operational spare parts ready before
start-up

·       
Conduct
ad-hoc technical surveys on site and at vendor/repair locations, providing
detailed technical reports identifying problems and solutions and ensuring
optimum performance from contractors

·       
Identify
opportunities to improve contractor/supplier performance, reduce costs and
improve the quality of services/products supplied

 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the TOTAL Deputy Head of Maintenance & Inspection (CMMS
Specialist) job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in
Mechanical or Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

·       
At least
twelve years of related work experience, 8 years in Oil & Gas

·       
Experience
in operations, maintenance and projects’ pre-commissioning, commissioning and
Hand-over activities.

·       
Possess
good communication and presentation skills.
