Job Summary:  Reporting to the Project Controls Leader EPC, The
Cost Controller EPC will be responsible for cost related activities from budget
control to preparing and defending cost related activities to the Authorities
and Partners. S/he provides analysis and support to management to facilitate
decision-making.  A key role is to
challenge costs and ensure all effort is made to optimise the value for money
and maintain expenditure within Budget.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Preparation
of estimates and control budgets within the CPF Package

·       
Control
and input the commitments data.

·       
Preparation
of Cost Control reports.

·       
Monitoring
and Control of the Project expenditures.

·       
Perform
contractor estimate reviews on behalf of the CPF Package.

·       
Prepare
cost trends analysis and input the commitments data.

·       
Provide
in-depth challenge to cost input from others

·       
File the
cost control documents according the document filing system.

 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the TOTAL Cost Controller EPC job placement must hold a
Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Commercial / Financial discipline

·       
At least
ten years’ relevant work experience in a relevant multidisciplinary, technical
work environment.

·       
Experience
in a project environment is a plus.

·       
Knowledge
of all phases associated with project execution, engineering deliverables,
procurement and construction deliverables.

·       
Proficiency
in SAP, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).

·       
Ability
to communicate effectively, work independently, positive attitude, good
interpersonal skills.
