integrated operations & maintenance resources and services covering the
lifecycle of energy assets, as well as tele-operated surveillance and
maintenance services.

 

Job Summary:  On behalf of our Client in the Extractives
sector, we are looking for a competent Data Assistant to join our Team at our
Clients office in Kampala in their Health, Safety, Security, Social,
Environment & Lands Department. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working
professional able to undertake a variety of assigned tasks and work diligently
under pressure.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Reporting to the HSE Data Analyst, the job
holder will be responsible for the following tasks;

·       
Proactively
perform Data Entry, search for and resolve data quality issues, including
removal of duplicate records.

·       
Support
and manage contractor field work schedules during Resettlement Action Plan
implementations (RAP) such as; travel & Camp bookings, Medical Fitness
Certificates and liaison with Responsible for Safety on Site (RSES/TPO).

·       
Liaise
with the banks to acquire Project Affected Persons (PAP’s) account details and
supporting documentation.

·       
Prepare
and dispatch Agreements to Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD).

·       
Organize
and disseminate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to internal and external
parties such as Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU), MEMD.

·       
Manage
Project Affected Person (PAPs) documentation prior to and after payment.

·       
Populate
Business on-line (BOL) file, manage and check the consistency of the
information in payment trackers.

·       
Liaise
and work closely with the different societal section leads.

 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a University Degree or equivalent qualification.

·       
At least
two years’ experience in community projects, development projects or in other
similar (NGOs)

·       
High
proficiency in the usage of computers and appropriate software such as database
software (MS Word, Excel, PPT etc.).

·       
GIS
experience very advantageous.

·       
Exceptional
analytical skills and good report writing capabilities.
