Job Summary:  Watoto
is seeking to recruit a Supplies Administrator to manage Homes and Office
supplies.

 

Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 

  • To maintain a stores operations manual
    and spear head in the amendment of the management procedures to meet the
    dynamic needs of the Homes.
  • To recommend and guide the homes
    administration and mothers on existing procedures regarding supplies
    management with timely amendments.
  • To distribute and analyse supplies
    request forms filled by mothers and amend order quantities.
  • To receive and verify the quality and
    quantity of deliveries, donations and supervise offloading of supplies and
    ensure that delivery notes are signed off.
  • To follow up on suppliers in liaison
    with the procurement officer in regard to deliveries, invoices, LPOs and
    replenishments and work with the procurement office to ensure standardised
    transportation plans for merchandise to the village.
  • To coordinate the timely distribution of
    home supplies and donations as per requests submitted by end users.
  • To conduct weekly, monthly &
    quarterly stock takes & share an updated report with the Village
    manager.
  • To ensure adequate record keeping and
    manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory
    control.
  • To ensure that the store is clean, kept
    free of clutter and organized and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.

 


Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

  • The applicant for the Watoto Supplies
    Administrator role should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in
    procurement and supplies management or a business-related degree
  • The ideal candidate should have at least
    three years working experience in a large organization in a similar role
  • A team player, result oriented, self –
    motivated, able to work for long hours under extreme pressure.           |
