Development Corporation (UDC) was set up by the Uganda Development Corporation
Act 2016 as the investment arm of Government with the primary objective of
facilitating industrial and economic development of the country. This
objective is met through; establishment of subsidiary and associated companies,
entering into public private partnerships with any commercial, industrial or
agricultural undertaking or enterprises, assisting in financing and management
of undertakings promoting industrial or economic development; and promoting and
facilitating research into industrial development.
Job Summary: The Senior Procurement Officer will effectively
execute procurement of goods, works and services in line with UDC material and
supplies’ needs and in line with the PPDA regulations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration
or any related degree
·
Full
Membership of a Professional body (CIPS) is a requirement
·
Understanding
of Electronic Government Procurement(e-GP)
·
Post
Graduate qualification is related field required
·
Minimum
of 6 years’ experience in the same field preferably 3 years at senior level.
·
Age: Below 54 years
