Job Summary:  Save the Children International is currently
recruiting for a Project Coordinator School Health and Nutrition at our field
Office in Wakiso. The Project Coordinator School Health and Nutrition is
responsible for effectively and efficiently planning, management and delivery
of the SHN core program components within the Impact Area in ways that meet
both local and international Save the Children and respective donor
requirements and guidelines. The job holder may be called upon as and when
necessary to support the emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.

 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the Save the Children International Project Coordinator
School Health and Nutrition at job placement must hold a Post graduate training
in either public health, Health Systems Strengthening, Community Health,
Nutrition, Social sciences, community development, Gender etc,

·       
Master’s
in public health will be an added advantage.

·       
At least
five years’ progressive experience in planning and implementation of
school-based health programme targeting all children, Adolescents inclusive.

·       
Ability
to speak the local language fluently is a strong requirement.

·       
Ability
to ride a motorcycle (Honda XL 125).

·       
Experience
of working with local partners and District Local Government in Child Rights.

·       
The
candidate must be having a valid riding permit and willing to ride a
motorcycle.

·       
Highly
developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing,
negotiation and coaching
