Job Summary: The Graduate Trainee, IT will support the IT
Department in the strategic as well as day-today roles to deliver Digital
offerings independently as well as within teams. The job holder will assist the
Department in delivering its service objectives whilst undergoing incubation
for digital skills to prepare for emerging technologies while building a career
to furnish the IT Talent pipeline.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Create
complex, enterprise-transforming business applications with high quality code
·
Assist
in the support of existing applications
·
Collaborate
with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure understanding of business
priorities
·
Analyse
and improve the efficiency of various systems and services
·
Proactively
monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to implement new
technologies
·
Create
and execute required test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing on all new
and changed components
·
Conducts
knowledge transfer to other IT and business personnel
·
Troubleshoot
problems identified by users/customers
·
Observe
experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards
required for performance of departmental duties
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Graduate Trainee, IT job placement must
hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management
Information Systems, or any related degree
·
Experience
with C#, Java, SQL, SQL Server, Python, PHP, etc
·
Knowledge
of systems development lifecycle, Agile development methodologies,
system/process documentation, server side architectures, system design and
development.
