We enable crucial eye health services and help empower people with disabilities
in some of the poorest regions of the world.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Monitoring, Evaluation and
Knowledge Manager, the Communications and Information Officer will share
information about Light for the World’s on‐the‐ground efforts across various programmes and
partnerships with the public, partners and donors, and lead the organization’s
exploration of targeted campaigns.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Sharing information with the public about Light for the World’s on‐the‐ground
deep knowledge of programmes through participation in programme meetings, field
visits, partnership meetings, and active information seeking.

postings, monthly e-newsletters, quarterly organizational reports and annual

Qualifications, Skills and
ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Development
Studies, Social Work and/or any other related field.

skill in compelling written and/or visual storytelling.

to package and disseminate information in different formats for various target
