Job Summary: We are currently seeking to recruit a Central
Planning Manager based in Kampala. As a Central Planning Manager, you will
report directly to the Logistics Director. The primary role of the Central
Planning Manager is to build CCBA Uganda Planning capability (people, process,
and systems) and cascade planning education throughout the business, while
managing the Centralised Planning Function, including total Export volume plus
P&L.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic
Planning: Aligned & Deployed Strategy

Developed
Business Planning Capability (S&OP / IBP)
·
Manage
the Supply Route Matrix
·
Materials
Management and Supplier Development
·
Sustained
Business Planning Processes through Knowledge Management:
·
Effective
use of ERP Planning Modules and APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) Tools:
·
Establish
a Centre of Excellence with Supply Chain Planning Best Practices
·
Manage
Export Volume and Export Department P&L
·
Departmental
Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
ideal candidate for the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Central Planning Manager job
placement must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management,
the Business field of study, Logistics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, or
related field
·
Added
advantage: Supply Chain planning, MBA
·
At least
10 -15 years’ work experience with at least 5 years in FMCG
·
5 years
in Supply Chain and Business Planning and 5 years Senior Management experience
reporting to an executive or director.
Competencies
·
Knowledge
of global best practices in the field of Business Planning and ability to
evolve planning business model maturity.
·
Broad
conceptual understanding of the integration of processes within the business
including the total supply chain.
·
Understands
business information systems
·
Excellent
computer skills with numerical acumen.
·
High
level of commitment and attention to detail.
·
High
degree of integrity, honesty, flexibility, and analytical ability.
