Job Title:    Internal Credit Control
Officer (3 Job Opportunities)

Reports to: Internal Credit Control Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Responsible
for branch, field audit and audit of other units/departments involved in credit
operations within organization

·       
Responsible
to supervise compliance with established institutional polices and processes in
4-7 branches

·       
Responsible
to conduct planned Quarterly branch audits and audits of other
units/departments involved in credit operations within established timelines

·       
On an
average need to spend 3-5 days per branch

·       
Investigation
of processes, polices adherence and identify frauds

·       
Prepare
reports on findings, observations and recommendations on real time basis and
present them to the Internal Credit Control Manager

·       
Preparation
of individual audit plan

·       
Timely
completion of audit

·       
Conduct
special audit activities (on requirement basis)

·       
Ensure
rectification during the course of audit

·       
Ensure
uniformity and accuracy in maintenance of records

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicant
must be a graduate with preference in Commerce

·       
At least
two to three years of experience in related field in financial institution/MFI
in Uganda is required

·       
Languages:
Strong written and verbal English
commands and a knowledge of a minimum 2 additional most spoken local languages

·       
Age
limit: 32 years

Well
versed with all organization policy and process

·       
Good
inter-personal skills

·       
Strong
analytical abilities

·       
Questioning
mind set

·       
Basic
knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word

·       
Has
strong writing English abilities for high level institutional reporting

·       
Possess
knowledge about working style of other Financial Institution/MFIs in Uganda
