Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Carry out
sampling, accurately prepare samples and conduct routine chemical analyses on
raw material, semi-finished and finished product samples daily as scheduled and
as per Standard Operating Procedures.

·       
Prepare
analysis solutions/reagents for reference and usage.

·       
Prepare
and maintain documents to conform to suitable regulatory requirements.

·       
Prepare
laboratory requests for consumables such as reagents and present requests for
replacement of supplies if required.

·       
Maintain
and manage clean and well-arranged work environment.

·       
Assist
laboratory supervisor to investigate off-spec products.

·       
Independently
operate various standard analytical instruments and perform basic maintenance
according to established methods.

·       
Assist
senior personnel with troubleshooting, advanced maintenance and calibration on
analytical instrumentation.

·       
Support
and assist senior personnel on improvement to analytical procedures using
existing equipment.

·       
Contribute
to writing of work instructions, procedures, protocol, and analytical methods.

·       
Communicate
daily operational details and issues affecting the Analytical Lab operations to
senior personnel.

·       
Perform
any other task as per management request.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the Hariss International QC Chemistry lab job placement
must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences,
Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology or other related field from
a recognized university OR a Diploma in the above areas with previous
experience in a similar position

·       
Familiar
with Carbonated Soft Drinks and/or water treatment plant.

·       
Knowledge
about media, basic microbiological testing and basic micro lab equipment’s.

·       
Good in
report writing and computer skills.

·       
Training
in Food Safety and Hygiene handling techniques
