Federal Republic of Germany with International operations in Uganda, GIZ
Implements commissions for the German government and other national and
international, public and private sector clients within the framework of the
international Cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the
Government of Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Assisting
with scheduling and logistics of interviews including sending invites to shortlisted
candidates, organising interview venue(s)
·
Assisting
in preparing candidates for interviews by providing detailed information on the
·
location,
and any other important information about the interview.
·
Follow
up reference checks
·
Assisting
in notifying unsuccessful applicants.
·
Filing
HR documents
·
Takes
minutes of the HR meetings.
·
Photocopying
and scanning documents as requested.
·
Performs
other duties and tasks at the request of Head of Department, Human Resources
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management or Business
Administration (With a focus on HR Management) or comparable degree.
·
Successfully
completed Internship program in at least 1 organisation.
·
Good
working knowledge of ICT (related software, phone, email, the internet) and
computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
·
Basic
knowledge of national labour and social law.
·
Basic
knowledge of HR Management, initial work experience desirable.
·
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills and fluent in written and spoken English
language.
·
Strictly
confidential handling of all HR issues.
