village clinics, a Hope center and clinic, a shoe production workshop,
education programs and income generating activities.
Job Summary: The Stores Assistant will provide support to
stores management by ensuring that Sole Hope Uganda stores are operated
according to the approved unit procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Issuing
out supplies to end users according to approved stores requisition vouchers
·
Receiving
supplies from suppliers according to approved purchase orders
·
Ensure
proper recording of stores items for proper tracking in the information system
·
Carry
out routine inventory verification under guidance of the finance officer
·
Ensure
that inventory items are well stored, properly and neatly arranged and easily
accessible and the store rooms are clean
·
Carry
out monthly store reconciliation for workshop and social work stores
·
Ensure
restricted access of people to stores/inventory items.
·
Maintain
up to date and accurate stores records
·
Deliver
excellent customer service that ensures ongoing production in the shoe workshop
and customer satisfaction
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
ideal candidate must hold a degree in procurement and supply chain management
is desired
·
A
diploma in stores management or a related field
·
One year
of experience working in a busy stores environment preferably in a
manufacturing setting or international organization
·
Knowledge
and experience working with ERP packages and sharepoint is desired
·
People
and inventory management skills
