is an official distributor, importer, wholesale and retail dealer of re-known
high quality construction/building equipment and material brands manufactured
in Kenya, Uganda and other countries. We also deal in consumer goods and
gardening tools which we distribute and sell through our various outlets
countrywide.

 

Job Summary:  Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager,
the Sales Officers are responsible for performing several activities related to
marketing a wide range of products to maximize sales, establishing and maintaining
valuable customer relationships that will enhance competitive advantage specifically
inline with the market environment that our company operates. Interested applicants
should be willing to work in our various locations within and outside Kampala.

 

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

·        
Conducting
sales
: As per approved sales strategy
for the company, market products in stock by identifying prospecting customers so
as to maximize sales within already existing and future delivery channels
within and outside Kampala.

·        
Customer
service standards:
Offer good customer
service to existing and prospective customers in compliance with set service standards
so as to foster efficiency, Turn Around Time in the management of customer feedback
and complaints.

·        
Submitting
sales reports
: Documents and
submits timely and accurate sales reports such as Sales Leads reports.

·        
Planning:
Prepare and execute a monthly
Sales and Marketing Plan.

·        
Market
Intelligence:
Research/bench
with key competitors with aim of profiling pricing and products, and report
findings to Sales and Marketing Manager accordingly.

·        
Advisory:
Advise the Sales and Marketing
Manager on fast moving stock and of the changes in customer taste.

·        
Credit
Sales:

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The applicant
must at least hold a Diploma in Business of any other related qualification but
with a bias in Marketing.

·        
A minimum
of one year of related work experience in any sales-driven or competitive
marketing environment

·        
Good
communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.

·        
Works
with a passion and possesses a strong “can do” attitude.

·        
Age: Between 24-30 years.
