manufacturer and one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). It is one of
the few pharmaceutical CGMP compliant facility that manufactures a range of WHO
prequalified medicines – ARV’s and ACT’s.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Planning
and monitoring plant operations, process equipment maintenance and
documentation

·       
Developing,
planning and supervising mechanical projects; both in-house and by contractors

·       
Planning,
supervising of routine and major overhaul works

·       
Overseeing
optimum usage of utilities within the plant

·       
Planning
and implementing continuous efficiency improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

·       
At least
six years of experience in manufacturing business and related projects

·       
Knowledge
in HVAC design, operations, validation and maintenance

·       
Knowledge
in Utilities design, generation, distribution and maintenance (steam, water,
compressed, chilled water)

·       
Strong knowledge
in energy and water conservation

·       
Ability
to use AUTOCAD software and Microsoft office

·       
Professional
engineers license is an added advantage
