Job Summary:  The Credit Analyst will support the day to day
operations of the risk function, working closely with the Country Credit
Analyst. Responsibilities will include evaluation of financial status of
clients, monitoring existing operations in place whilst ensuring process
implementation, performing risk assessments, writing detailed reports and
advising on recommendations.

 

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

·        
Support
the Country credit analyst in developing methodologies to improve the current
processes.

·        
Suggest
enhancements to current process and policies to avoid operational risks. This
involves presentation of ideas via reports and presentations, outline findings
and making recommendations for improvements.

·        
Carry
out periodic spot checks on processes and provide findings and recommendation
of the risks identified.

·        
Investigate
fraud cases inclusive of  data
collection, interviewing claimants and sharing recommendations

·        
Assist
the Country credit analyst in implementing audit recommendations.

·        
Identify
and classify potential default risk through data collection and interaction
with clients.

·        
Preparation
of field reports, collation of data, documentation and reporting on findings.

·        
Red flag
identification and timely reporting of the same

·        
Any
other task allocated by the Country credit analyst.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The
ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a
related business field

·        
Two
years of related experience is preferred

·        
Significant
knowledge of  fraud detection and
conducting Investigations

·        
Proficient
In Microsoft Office with Advanced skills in Excel

·        
Ability
to engage with key stakeholders, working collaboratively to ensure sound
business outcome

·        
Excellent
planning, organisational and analytical skills with good attention to detail

·        
Ability
to prioritise and multi task in a fast paced environment

·        
Problem-solving
abilities

·        
Strong
communication skills (written and Verbal) 
and presentation skills
