Job Summary:  The Country People & Resourcing Officer
will provide HR Business partnering and resourcing support through
implementation of HR policies, business systems, processes and tools to
strengthen project delivery and successful implementation through improved
productivity, workforce engagement, performance management and accountability.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The
applicant must hold relevant Formal HR Qualification or Equivalent Experience

·        
Three to
four years of HR experience as a generalist.

·        
Experience
supporting managers to manage diverse teams

·        
Solid
understanding of relevant HR legislation is essential

·        
Experience
of recruitment and onboarding practices

·        
High
level of computer skills (Windows, Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Internet
HR Information system).

·        
Ability
to work confidentially at all times

·        
Strong
oral and written communication skills

·        
Excellent
organizational and interpersonal skills

·        
Ability
to work independently and attention to detail

·        
Flexibility
to adapt, positive attitude towards change and constructive and creative
approach to problem solving

·        
Ability
to multi-task and prioritise multiple requests for support.

·        
Commitment
to VSO’s work and values

 

Desirable

·        
Experience
working with international Non-Government Organizations
