 Job Summary:  We are looking for an experienced assistant
travel manager to help advance our operations department.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a university degree in wildlife health and management,
hospitality, travel and tourism & business management will be an advantage.
An IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism Diploma will be an advantage.

·       
At least
three years of experience in the travel industry in the Ugandan market.

·       
Passionate
about travel and tourism locally, regionally and internationally.

·       
Proven
knowledge of Ugandan & neighboring tourism markets Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania
and South Sudan.

·       
Excellent
proficiency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.

·       
Excellent
interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

·       
Knowledge
of office management systems and Microsoft Office.

·       
Ability
to present, persuade and communicate effectively.

·       
Good
organizational, planning and time-management skills.

·       
Proven
ability to foster and value client and team relationships.

·       
The
ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows.

·       
Attention
to detail and problem-solving

·       
Established
customer service and sales skills, proactive with clients.
