Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer /
Programmer

Kakira Sugar Works Limited, often referred to as Kakira Sugar Works, is a
leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East
African Community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Create
various SAP modules with the help of the ABAP programming language.
·
Work
with functional teams to create and develop programs to meet specifications and
requirements.
·
Experience
in implementing BADI’S, BAPI’s, User Exits, Enhancements and SAP Notes
·
Identify
and address functional needs, Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·
Interact
with teams (internal) where applicable to explain technical concepts in
manageable terms.
·
Clearly
document custom development work undertaken per standard methodology and
templates.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
Applicant
should be holder of any of the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
preferred in Computer Science
·
At least
three years of experience in a similar working environment, with a thorough
knowledge of SAP ABAP with SD, MM, FICO, and HCM Modules. Candidates having SAP
ABAP Certifications will have an added advantage.
·
Experience
in technical development with ECC Primary with ABAP experience. Hands-on
experience in developing and designing custom applications
·
Solid
debugging skills
·
Prior
experience as a technical programming development project team.
·
Must be
able to work on simultaneous projects and reports.
·
Ability
to work independently and proactively.
·
Team
player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
