About US:

The Uganda
Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is established as a Statutory Body under
the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act Cap. 210. The Bureau is a key
player in Commercial, Civil and Intellectual Property Rights Registration that
facilitate private sector development and vital statistics for national
planning.

 

Job Summary:  The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will carry
out monitoring and evaluation of URSB operations, programmes and activities

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Maintains
the M&E system and tracks of indicators.

·       
Retrieves
and analyses data from the management information systems and writes reports for
management use in decision making

·       
Supports
the process of defining, developing and revising the Monitoring and

·       
Evaluation
(M&E) systems as it applies to URSB.

·       
Builds
capacity of team and Implementing Partners on M&E tools, analysis, data
management and reporting in the URSB management systems.

·       
Supports
the IT department with technical assistance when called upon.

·       
Monitors
and evaluates projects and writes reports to Unit heads.

·       
Supports
management in writing performance reports to the development partners.

·       
Advises
on manual data management like file naming, data to be filled and open up files
for all Implementing Partners

·       
Performs
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Senior Planner
(M&E)

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) Senior Legal Officer must hold an
Honours Degree in: Statistics or Economics or Development Studies or a related
field from a recognized institution

·       
Analytical
skills

·       
Ability
to work independently.
