About US:
Farming Company, Uganda is an international company has established a
modern commercial pig farm in Uganda, including a large breeding herd,
finishing unit and abattoir to produce up to 20,000 sides of pork per year for
the local and regional market..
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Recruitment
of new staff as and when required.
·
Managing
the induction all new staff into the company.
·
Management
of Health and Safety throughout the company
·
Developing
the annual training programme for the company
·
Develop
training plans and programs in both English and local languages.
·
Delivering
training to staff in both English and local languages
·
Maintaining
the Staff Handbook
·
Maintaining
HR records
·
Ensuring
the company is compliant with all Ugandan labour/employment regulations
·
Management
of other associated relevant Human Resource issues.
·
Manage
community engagement programme
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
successful candidate should be a graduate with a good general degree.
·
Strong
literacy, numeracy and computer skills are essential.
·
Some
prior strong relevant/related work experience is necessary.
NB: The successful candidate will
be based at the farm at Nakifuma.
