Job Summary: The Fuel Clerk will mainly ensure proper
record keeping, manage all store documentation to confirm proper stock levels
and maintain inventory control.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Initiate
purchase requisitions for refueling whenever the stock level of fuel approaches
the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
·
Arrange
and forward fuel invoices in time for payment processing.
·
Receipt
& Issue out fuel in required quantities authorized NAS equipment. Monitor
equipment’s fuel consumption to report any decrease or increase in equipment
fuel consumption.
·
Guide
ENHAS drivers and external customers on fuel distribution procedures.
·
Accountable
for all transactions of fuel to and from the fuel tank.
·
In
charge of safety and cleanliness of the bowser, underground tank and fuel pump.
·
Carry
out safe fueling practices by monitoring drivers and external Customers at
multiple fueling positions continuously.
·
Maintain
records and prepare monthly reports regarding quantity and value of fuel
purchased, received, stored, and issued.
·
Carry
out routine fuel stock reconciliation.
·
Any
other duties that may be assigned.
Key Performance Indicators
·
Accurate
fuel records
·
Timely
preparations and submission of accurate periodic fuel reports
·
Timely
submission of fuel purchase requisition in line with established re-order
levels
·
Cost
effective fuel management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in Stores management or equivalent
·
One year
of experience in the service industry with working knowledge of fuel station
equipment including tank monitoring devices, automated signs and fuel
dispensers.
·
National
Driving Permit (CM & BM Classes) and Airside Driving Permit (ADP).
·
Skills:
Interpersonal and communication skills, high degree of integrity and basic
computer skills
