Suubi Lyaffe a
Community Based Organisation initiated by mothers of disabled children is
looking for an intern to support in the implementation of its activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Establishing
a monthly report assessment of children’s development; Social, Physically,
Spiritually, Intellectual
·
Involving
children in regular group activities at the centre so as to boost their brain
·
Visiting
their homes to discuss about their living standards, welfare and environment
·
Supervising
the children’s hygiene changes on a weekly basis
·
Studying
and creating analysis of children’s family and background
·
Discussing
about the children’s welfare in health and diet
·
Devising
means on how to find solutions to the problems facing parents and children
·
Keeping
a record of the children by taking photos of children every after six months to
analyse developmental changes
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant must hold a diploma in Social work and social administration/ Early
childhood learning/ social psychology
·
Experience
working with children with special needs and disabilities.
·
Excellent
communication skills
·
Excellent
interpersonal skills
·
Computer
literate in basic packages.
