Job Title:    Stores Controller Officer

population through a combination of community-based research, curative services
and prevention strategies in the districts of South-central Uganda.

Job Summary: The
primary duties of the Stores controller officer are to assist and be part of
the Stores and stock control team, stock processes and the general store
warehouse practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
To sort,
pre-pack and label requested goods before dispatch

·       
To
dispatch goods to their respective users

·       
To
receive goods / supplies into the stores.

·       
To post
daily goods’ transactions both receipts and dispatches in the ERP system in
real time.

·       
Participate
in routine stock taking and daily stock reconciliations.

·       
Be
responsible for categorizing goods/ supplies neatly on to their respective
ranks in the store/warehouse.

·       
Inspect
daily cleanliness and hygiene of the stores.

·       
Daily
inspection of drugs in the stores and look for damages spills and expires.

·       
As will
be instructed from time to time, among other things, provide periodic
performance reports.

·       
Manage
secondary packaging at the warehouse.

·       
Execute
all other duties as shall be assigned by supervisor, adhere to all RHSP
policies, procedures and demonstrate high integrity

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a Bachelors’ degree in Stores management, Procurement and
Logistics Management, and any other related qualifications

·       
A
minimum of credit 6 in O’ level Mathematics and English.

·       
2 – 3
years’ experience in stores handling.

·       
Knowledge
of managing pharmaceutical and health products.

·       
Good
knowledge of Excel and ERPs especially Navision will be an added advantage.

·       
Ability
to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·       
Excellent
track record in customer relations management.

·       
Computer
literate with experience in the use of MS Office programs; and skills in stock
management software for inventory management and reporting.

·       
The
incumbent must possess excellent communication, team working, good
interpersonal skills, and high level of integrity.
