Job Summary:   The Assistant Production Manager will be
responsible for planning coordinating and controlling of manufacturing
processes. He / She should be able monitor production of goods or the
effectiveness of services, ensure actual amount is produced at the right
quality and cost. Provide administrative support to production Staff.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

·       
Ensure
all company equipment and other assets are well maintained in a shift.

·       
Ensure
shift production targets are met in a timely manner at an optimum cost &
also ensure shift handover is done in a manner that promotes seamless
production without creating bottlenecks to the incoming shift.

·       
Work
closely with the different stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.

·       
Ensure
all employees in a shift are well supervised, disciplined and meet all MPL
safety requirements.

·       
Increase
productivity of the shift through proper planning & scheduling of the
available capacity

·       
Ensure
customer satisfaction by fulfilling their orders in time and with the right
quality.

·       
Provide
shift accountability of all resources provided ranging from equipment usage,
packaging materials & other raw materials.

·       
Provide
timely reports concerning FG,SFG, packaging materials & equipment health,
and notify the production manager on all issues happening in the different
production halls.

·       
Constantly
identify gaps for purposes of continuous improvement.

·       
Identify
training needs, train and empower subordinates to increase their level of
competence and preparation for succession.

·       
Ensure
timely & accurate entries are made in SAP.

·       
Ensure
good housekeeping & adherence to GMPS in production halls.

·       
Perform
any other duty assigned by the Production manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
(Manufacturing / Industrial option), Chemistry, Electrical or any other related
science discipline.

·       
Two
years of relevant experience in FMCG environment or busy manufacturing setup in
a managerial position.

·       
Awareness
in occupational health & safety.

·       
Working
Knowledge in SAP.

·       
Must
have excellent communication and reporting skills, ability to relate well with
co-workers, keeping up to date with changing technology, good planning skills,
team player, Decision & problem solving skills.
