Kray micro-finance
was established in 2012. We are licensed and regulated by Uganda Micro-finance
Regulatory Authority. We offer loans, investment and other financial services
at three branches i.e. Nakasero, Nakawa and Bugolobi. 

 

Job Summary:   The Sales and Marketing Officers shall be
responsible for opening accounts and mobilizing saving deposits in line with
set targets. The SMO will also be in charge of account reactivation, promotion
and usage of new alternative channels, managing client relationships and
ensuring that personal targets are achieved on allocated Kray financial
products.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing and
Promotion:

·       
Actively
participate in the institution’s organized product training and make an
individual effort to fully learn all the products offered.

·       
Market
the institution’s products to all potential clients through both existing and
new markets.

·       
Responsible
to conduct financial literacy trainings to communities, schools and Kray
existing clients.

·       
Compile
a List of names of potential customers approached in the area and branch of
operation.

·       
Mobilize
and Recruit new savings and loan accounts according to the agreed daily
targets.

·       
Responsible
to manage customer relationships

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the Sales and Marketing Officer Job must hold a Diploma or
Degree from a recognized institution of Higher Learning. Additional
Qualifications provide an added advantage.

·       
Proof of
experience in a highly sales-driven environment also provides an added
advantage.

·       
Spoken
and Written Communication–Speaks clearly, understandable and friendly to the
customers.

·       
Deliver
simple and practical explanations of savings products. Writes clearly and
informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Presents numerical data
effectively

·       
Able to
read and interpret written information.

·       
Efficient
Selling Process – Understand and prioritize the needs of the customer; Provide
solution to customer’s problem; explain clearly the benefits of the product
offered; Make sure that the sales process is completed.

·       
Team
Player – Balances the individual responsibilities according to the team
activities; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of
team above own interests.

·       
Business
Acumen – Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation
to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work
with strategic goals.

– Displays original thinking and creativity; Meets challenges with
