About US:

The Public Service
Commission is established under the provisions of  Article 165(1) of the
1995 Constitution. In fulfillment of its functions under Article 166,  the
Commission is required to make a report to Parliament in respect of each year’s
performance of its functions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  The incumbent will be responsible to the
Deputy Registrar Planning, Research and Inspectorate for performing the
following duties:

·       
Receiving
and processing complaints/suggestions concerning the Judiciary;

·       
Interviewing
and recording statements of clients’ complaints;

·       
Carrying
out research and investigations into clients’ complaints;

·       
Handling
disciplinary cases filed against Judicial Officers;

·       
Any
other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
Applicants
should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a
recognized University/Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal
Practice from the Law Development Centre.

·       
Applicants
should have six (6) years working experience in the field of Legal Practice and
Systems, three (3) of which should have been served at Senior Officer Level in
Government or from a reputable organization.
