services, health commodities and medical devices to organizations that are futuristic.

 

Job Summary:  The ICT Specialist will maintain the company’s
IT environment and network resources, support equipment/asset and inventory
management, Improve the efficiency of IT resource use, implement and monitor
the company’s ICT standards, promote user awareness and train users in the use
of ICT resources.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the process automation vision of the company; recommend or
    develop applications and systems that will help optimize user
    satisfaction.
  • Manage the installation, configuration and customization of IT
    systems ensuring compliance with BLL’s IT standards, guidelines and
    procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date technical systems documentation for developed IT
    solutions to support systems maintenance.
  • Resolve users queries independently, escalating if required, to
    ensure that standard IT questions are answered, and accurate information
    is provided.
  • Supervise the data back-up system; Network access Storage (NAS)
    & remote synchronizing of data; identify and eliminate bottlenecks to
    ensure long-term network efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and the delivery of trainings
    on automated business processes to ensure efficient and effective use of
    IT systems.
  • Collect and collate data, conduct basic analysis to support the
    development of accurate reports.
  • Maintain an accurate assets and equipment inventory in accordance
    with BLL’s standard operational procedures and regulations.
  • Develop SOPs and guidelines related to ICT processes as needed.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information
    Technology, Networking, or any related field.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience working with corporate systems
    and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in managing complex networks, and software development is
    a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines while
    delivering high quality work.
  • Solution oriented with a high sense of attention to detail,
    accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Ability to use quality tools such as benchmarking, brainstorming,
    gap analysis and process mapping for fact-based decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
