Job Summary:  The EFSVL Assistant will be tasked with the implementation
of EFSVL interventions which include but not limited to Agriculture support
(crop and livestock), Business and entrepreneurial skills, Market- oriented
IGAs, Cash transfer programming, vocational skills training, Business skills
training, Formation and organization of livelihoods associations and VSLA. The
incumbent plays a key role in the field with community mobilization, community
stakeholders, beneficiaries, trainings, monitoring of and support to field
activities and documentation.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the Oxfam EFSVL Assistant job placement must hold a
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, economics, business development, forestry or
other relevant discipline.

·       
At least
two years of experience working with agricultural development, IGAs, market and
business development, vocational skills training, and cash based interventions.

·       
Previous
exposure and experience in environmentally friendly and energy saving
technologies for agriculture and income generating activities.

·       
Excellent
communication skills and ability to write good reports.

·       
Previous
experience with other local and international NGOs.

·       
Knowledge
of local languages.
